Winterization livelihoods support for livestock 2023-2024

Dear beneficiaries, applications for the 2024-2025 Livestock Preparation for Wintering Program will be open soon (for certain communities indicated below on this page).

Estonian Refugee Council implements a Winterization program during the 2024-2025 winter season. The objective of the program is to restore or sustain the conflict-affected agricultural livelihoods in the hromadas which are listed below. 300 households will receive grants of up to 32,200 UAH to meet their immediate basic agricultural needs for the upcoming winter.

What can assistance be used for?

Assistance can be received for the following activities:

  • Animal feed (up to 12,000 UAH)
  • Veterinary services (vaccination and treatment of diseases common in winter etc.) (up to 3,000 UAH)
