Support for the light and medium repairs of damaged housing
Estonian Refugee Council implements a program aimed at repair of houses damaged by the conflict in the areas listed below. 200 households will receive financial aid in the amount of 56,250 UAH. Vulnerable households from the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions affected by the war can apply to the program.
What can assistance be used for?
Assistance can be obtained for the following activities:
- Procurement of construction materials,
- Payment for repair works.
Financial aid is targeted, meaning participants must provide reporting documents (receipts, invoices, etc.) confirming the specific use of the entire assistance amount.
Financial assistance involves a phased transfer of funds according to the following algorithm:
- Submission of an application.

Examination of the application by ERC staff, and in case of approval:
- Transfer of the first part of the funds in the amount of 18,750 UAH.

Receipt of reports for the first part of the funds, and in case of approval:
- Transfer of the second part of the funds in the amount of 37,500 UAH.
- Receipt of reports for the second part of the funds.
Who can participate?
Vulnerable households from the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions affected by the war can apply to the program.
The pre-approval decision is made on the basis of the information provided by the main applicant representing the household. The applicant shall submit an application on the online platform of the Estonian Refugee Council. The amount of the financial aid will be transferred to the bank account.
Applying for financial aid does not guarantee automatic participation in the program.
How to apply for assistance?
Application deadline: January 19, 2024
After filling out the form, our specialists will review the information provided and, if necessary, inform you about the need to provide additional information using the email specified in the online form. Our experts review the application within 2 weeks from the date of its receipt. You will be informed about the results of the application review. If you are selected for the programme, the amount of assistance will be transferred to your bank account.

The decision to apply for assistance is voluntary, the information provided is confidential. The information provided during the call and on this form will only be used for the vulnerability assessment of the household and program assessment purposes. The information collected will be shared with the program evaluation team and be only accessible by the team members. The results of the assessment will be shared with program donors in a non-identifiable manner.
